Reports coming in indicates that there has been heavy fighting in Ajegunle, Apapa area of Lagos Sate.
The violence reportedly broke out at layinka Street, towards the round about at Ajegunle.
Security agents at Pako police station, which is located close to the area has however intervened in order to prevent the violence from further escalating.
According to our correspondent Oluwole Joshua, several properties have been vandalised and homes looted.
It was also gathered that gunshots were heard and a boy in the area has been shot dead. The police have reportedly moved the deceased from the area and are investigating the matter.
In the same vein, it was gathered that another part of Ajegunle known as Izeagwu street is also experiencing violence. A curfew has, therefore been placed in the area, as residents are not allowed to move around any moment from 5 pm till dawn.
